2 Hizbut Tawhid men held in Gazipur.

Gazipur, Aug 9 (UNB) – Two activists of banned militant outfit Hizbut Tawhid were arrested from Baro Bari area in Sadar upazila on Wednesday afternoon.

The arrested were identified as Manik, 30, of Chandpur and Helal Sajwal, 38, of Bhola district. They were residing at a rented house in Baro Bari area.

Police said the two activists entered into the premises of Laxma Sweater Company in the afternoon in the area and after explaining the aims and objects of the party invited the workers to join the party.

Later, the workers suspecting them as militants caught them and after mass beating handed over them to police.
 
Police also recovered a number of Jihadi books and leaflets were recovered from their possession.
