News - Miscreants kill young trader in Jhenidah
Jhenidah, August 9 (UNB) - A gang of miscreants chopped a young trader to death at Jagusha village in Moheshpur upazila on Wednesday midnight.

The victim was identified as Arifur Rahman, 24, son of Bazlur Rahman of village Natima in the upazila.

Police said a gang of miscreants numbering 10-12 intercepted Ariful while he along with his two friends riding his motorbike was passing the Jagushia village at about mid night.

The miscreants at one stage stabbed Ariful with sharp weapons leaving him dead on the spot and fled the scene. Police on information, recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.

Local people caught one of the miscreants, Noor Islam, son of Fazlu of village Alaipur in the same upazila and handed over him to police.
