President visits Sajeda Chowdhury at BSMMU

Dhaka, Aug 10 (UNB) - President Zillur Rahman today (Friday) visited Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital to see ailing Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury.

Zillur Rahman reached BSMMU at noon and spent some time beside Sajeda, a senior Bangabhaban official told UNB.

The President inquired about her condition and ongoing treatment.

The physicians concerned of the hospital apprised the President that
the condition of Sajeda was improving and she would
be able to go back home soon.

The senior ruling party leader was admitted to the hospital on August 7.
