420 bottles phensidyl recovered in Natore

Natore, Aug 10 (UNB) - Police recovered 420 bottles of phensidyl syrup from a boat at Bhadur Battala Ghat of Padma River in Lalpur upazila early Friday.

Police said on secret information they conducted a drive in the area and seized the boat early in the morning.

Sensing the presence of the law enforcers the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind the boat in the area.

Later, police recovered the Indian contraband drug from the boat.

A case was filed in this connection.
