Benapole (Jessore), Aug 10 (UNB) - A distributor of Pran Company was killed in an attack by miscreants near
his Bezpara residence in Jessore town early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, 45, a local distributor of the private company. He was also distributor of two other private companies.

Police said Kamrul was returning to his rented house at about 12:15am when several miscreants hit him with sharp weapons leaving him injured.

The injured was admitted to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

However, the motive behind the attack could not be known.

Police said they detained two youths---Siru and Limon-for interrogation.

A case was filed with local thana.
