Unidentified man’s body found in Dhaleshwari River

Tangail, Aug 10 (UNB) - Police recovered the body of an unidentified man aged about 40 years from Dhaleshwari River at Gohaliabari in Kalihati upazila on Friday morning.

Kalihati thana OC (Investigation) Golam Mostafa said local people found the body floating in a branch of the river in the area at about 8am and informed them.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Tangail General Hospital for autopsy.

The deceased was wearing a lungi and a shirt.

Police suspected that the man died after falling from the roof of a running train two days ago.

A UD case was filed.
