Dhaka, Aug 10 (UNB) – Three Rohingyas and a Bangladeshi broker were arrested at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday night.
The arrested three Rohingyas are Bashar, 18, Selim, 18, and Azizul Haque, 19, while the broker is Kaiser, 19.
Assistant Police Super of Airport Armed Police Minhaj said Bashar, Selim and Azizul holding Bangladeshi passports and posing as Sabuj Mia, Khalil and Hasan Ali respectively went to the airport along with their broker Kaiser to catch a Cambodia-bound flight of Thai Airways.
Noticing their suspecting movement, members of the Airport Armed Police challenged them at about 11:15 pm.
Later, they confessed that they are Myanmar nationals and were holding Bangladeshi passports in fake names to go to Cambodia.
