College teacher killed in road accident in Muladi

Barisal, Aug 12 (UNB) – A college teacher was killed as a human hauler ran over him at Khejurtala in Muladi upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sudhangshu Sarkar, 31, lecturer of Physics Department of Char Kalekha Adarsha College in the upazila.

Shah Alam Hawladar, officer-in-charge of Muladi police station, said the accident took place when he fell down from a human and was crushed under it in the area on his way home from the college at about 2:00pm.

Police handed over the body of the teacher to his family members.

A case was filed with thana.
