Man held for violating minor girl in Magura
Magura, Aug 13 (UNB) – Police arrested an elderly man on a charge of violating a minor girl in the district town on Sunday.
The arrested was identified as Syed Ali Reza, 55, a retired army man.
Police said Reza called the minor girl, 4, to his house at PTI Para in the town around noon and raped her.
Hearing screaming of the victim, locals rushed in, rescued her and caught the criminal.
Later, the victim was whisked off to Magura Sadar Hospital and Reza handed over to police.
A case was filed in this connection.
