DSE gains, CSE dips in early trading
Dhaka, Aug 14 (UNB) - Trading on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed an opposite trend in the early hour on Tuesday.
Share prices at the DES registered a nominal gain while that at the CSE a slight fall in the early trading.
The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 3.42 points or 0.08 percent to reach 4211.82 points at 12:00 pm today. Of the issues traded till then, 79 gained, 98 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, the CSE key index, CSCX lost 12.95 points to stand at 8079.15 points also at 12:00 pm.
Of the issues traded till then, 37 advanced, 64 suffered loss and 23 remained unchanged.
