US embassy to remain closed Thursday, Aug 19-21

Dhaka, Aug 15 (UNB) - The US Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on Thursday in observance of Shab-e-Quadr and on August 19-21 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The closures include the Consular Section and the American Center’s Archer K Blood Library and Student Advising Center, said a press release on Wednesday.

However, emergency services will be available for the American citizens who are requested to call 8855500 and ask for the duty officer if needed, said the release.
