Private company official killed in road accident

Gazipur, Aug 17 (UNB) - An engineer of a private company was killed when a covered van hit him at Konabari in Sadar upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 32, an engineer of Rahimafrooz Company and also son of late Nurul Islam of Barobari Sarker Para in Rangpur district.

Police said Habibur along with his motorcycle was staying in front of Tata showroom at about 7:45am when the covered van hit him from behind, leaving him injured.

The injured was rushed to a nearby private clinic where
the attending doctors declared him dead.
