Dhaka, Aug 17 (UNB) - Bangladesh will play hosts Australia in the first super league (cup) quarterfinal of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup on Sunday (August 19) at Endeavour Park No. 2 in Townsville, Queensland.
The knockout phase main battle for the prestigious cup between hosts Australia and Bangladesh will start at 5:30 am Bangladesh time (23:30 GMT).
Bangladesh reached the cup quarterfinal as Group D runners-up securing four points from three matches with two wins and one loss with net run rate of -0.336 after South Africa, which emerged group champions with all-win run, having net run rate of +2.987.
On way to the quarterfinal, Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 25 runs and Namibia by seven wickets while lost to South Africa by huge 133 runs.
