2 die inside septic tank in Munshiganj
Munshiganj, Aug 17 (UNB) - Two men died after inhaling poisonous gas when they went down to clean a septic tank in Tentuitola village in Gojaria upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Khalil, 30, son of Chand Mia and Al-Amin, 28, son of Haque Mia. Both hailed from Chanderchwak village of Homna upazila in Comilla district.
Police said Khalil died after inhaling poisonous gas when he went inside a septic tank to clean it in a house in the area around 10am. Not getting his response, Al-Amin also went down the tank and died.
Later, bodies of both of them were recovered from the tank.
A UD case was filed with Gojaria thana.
