Moulvibazar, Aug 18 (UNB) - Seven members of a family were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Rajnagar upazila on Saturday afternoon.

Six of the deceased were identified as Pranati, Unai, Anima, Sajib, Brishti and Asha. The identity of the other deceased could not be known yet.

Police said the Kulaura-bound microbus from the district town collided head-on with the three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction at Ashrakapan on Moulvibazar-Kulaura Road at about 5:30 pm, killing five on the spot and injuring six others.

The injured were whisked off to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital where two of them succumbed to their injuries. Four other injured were shifted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
