Mymensingh, Aug 19 (UNB) - Rail communications of the district with other parts of the country, including the capital, remained snapped for three hours on Sunday following derailment of a local train in Ishwarganj upazila.

Local sources said a freight bogie of the Mymensingh-bound train from Bhairab veered off the track at Atharobari at about 10 am.

Later, the rail communications resumed at about 1 pm after the derailed bogie was salvaged.
