News - Jhenidah AL-BNP clash leaves 1 dead
Jhenidah, Aug 21 (UNB) – A man was killed and 20 others were injured in a clash between the supporters of Awami League (AL) and BNP at Nagerhat in Shailakupa upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Kuddus, 35, a supporter of local BNP.

Locals said the rival supporters locked into in the hou- long clash at about 9am, killing Kuddus on the spot and injuring others.

On information, police rushed in and brought the situation under control.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
