Benapole, Aug 22 (UNB) - Export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port resumed on Wednesday after seven days of suspension from August 15 due to National Mourning Day, Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.
However, activities at the port were hampered due to thin attendance of officials and employees as they are yet to join their duties after the weeklong holiday.
Vice president of Benapole Customs C&F Agents Association Nuruzzaman said full-scale activities at the port are unlikely before Sunday.
