Boy found dead in city

Dhaka, Aug 23 (UNB) – An unidentified boy was found dead in a lake in the city’s Gulshan-2 area on Thursday.

Police recovered the body of the boy, aged about 17, from the lake near Shahabuddin Park at about 9:30 am.

Later, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police said a security guard spotted the body in the lake in the morning and informed them.

There were several injury marks in the body. The victim was wearing a jeans pant only, police said.
