Slight rise in temperature likely

Dhaka, Aug 23 (UNB) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Rangpur, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions in 24 hours till 6 pm tomorrow (Friday).

Moderately heavy falls are also likely at places over the country.

Day and nigh temperature may rise slightly over the country, Met Office said.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 6:24 pm and rises on Saturday at 5:38 am.

Country’s highest temperature 34.8 degrees Celsius was recorded today at Jessore and lowest 23.5 degrees at Rangamati.
