Restrictions on traffic over Meghna, Gomti bridges for 7 days

Dhaka, Aug 27 (UNB) – Plying of all types of vehicles over the Meghna and Gomti Bridges on Dhaka-Chittagong highway will remain suspended for six hours every day for seven days from September 1.

A PID handout on Monday said the bridges will remain closed to traffic from 12 am to 6 am till September 7 for the repair works on the Hinge Bearings and Expansion Joints of both the bridges.
