Student electrocuted in Pabna

Pabna, Sept 2 (UNB) - A student was electrocuted at Rajapur village in Sadar upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 23, student of Pabna Polytechnic Institute and son of Abdul Quader of Naria Godai village in Santhia upazila.

Police and locals said Abdur Rahman was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live electric wire while working as a trainee of the institute at the house of Piar Ali in the same village at noon.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
