Dhaka, Sep 11(UNB) – Bangladesh and Malaysia are expected to finalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to re-open manpower export to Malaysia during a two-day meeting between the two countries beginning on Wednesday.
To take part in the meeting, a 10-member delegation led by Human Resource minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri S Subramaniam is expected to arrive in the city Tuesday night.
About the meeting, Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment secretary Dr Zafar Ahmed Khan told UNB that the Bangladesh government has already given a proposal regarding manpower export to Malaysia. The work time will be eight hours with overtime facilities,” Zafar added.
He also said that Bangladesh will send workers through government channels as Malaysia is interested to take manpower in this way.
