Housewife killed in Khulna

Khulna, Sept 14 (UNB) - A housewife was hacked to death by rivals at Kharia village in Paikgachha upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Karimon Begum, 40, mother of two children and wife of Fazle Sana of the village.

Local sources said Fazle and his wife received information that their rivals were damaging seed-plot near their house.

As Fazle and his wife went to their seed-plot, their rivals attacked them, leaving the housewife dead on the spot at about 5am.

Fazle, however, managed to flee the scene.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
