News - 507 bullets recovered in B’baria
Brahmanbaria, Sept 19 (UNB) – Police in their separate drives recovered 507 rounds of bullets and a gun in the district town on Tuesday night.

On secret information, a team of Sadar Police Station conducted a drive at a sand field at Kazipara at about 10 pm and recovered the bullets in an abandoned condition.

The same team later recovered a single-barrel gun and a cartridge from near Kawtali Stadium.

However, police could not arrest anyone as the criminals fled the scene sensing the presence of the law enforcers.

Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Abdur Rab said they were trying to know who brought the bullets here and why. “We have launched a drive to arrest the persons involved in the incident,” he added.
